This soft, creamy and sweet coffee is a mixture of the cherries from small farmers from the breathtaking high mountains of the Tarazzú region in the southern Pacific area of Costa Rica.
Producer, Region and Processing
The coffee is sourced and processed by Luis Anastasio Castro which you might know from the Anaerobic Naturals we’ve had in our previous seasons. He has exceptional skills in processing coffee, which lift this coffee up to a higher level!
It’s a mixture of the cherries from small farmers from the breathtaking high mountains of the Tarazzú region in the southern Pacific area of Costa Rica. The Tarrazú climate is characterized by two well-defined seasons; a rainy season (May through November) and a dry season (December through April). This encourages uniform coffee blossoming. The fertile, volcanic soil is perfect for agriculture and smallholders grow bananas, avocados, citrus fruits and of course coffee
Flavour
You can expect a soft and creamy cup with vibrant acidity which reminds us of sweet citrus fruits and stone fruits, with a long and lingering almond-like finish.
