The key to a perfect shot of espresso is consistency. The quickest way to consistency is to eliminate (or control) as many variables in your prep process as possible. The dosing rings are specifically designed to help eliminate the overflow of coffee grinds while dosing into your portafilter. Eliminating overflow helps you reduce mess, waste, and in turn, will result in much more consistent dosing weights.
The 58mm espresso dosing rings are designed to work with most 58mm portafilters like Sage (Dual Boiler, Oracle, Oracle Touch), Flair, Rocket and many more.
