This smooth, creamy chocolate from Finca Parras Lempa in El Salvador represents a collaboration with artisan chocolate maker Krak. The bright, crisp acidity and rich depth result from intentional choices made by the farmer, paired with the expertise of the chocolate maker. We believe this cacao reflects the authenticity of its origin, celebrating both the farmer and the chocolate maker.
Benedicto Morataya’s cacao is grown on his farm, Finca Parras Lempa, located in the heart of El Salvador. Although cacao trees were only introduced to the farm in 2010, Benedicto and his team have developed an expert understanding of the land's climatic conditions, soil types, and selective harvesting practices. The result is cacao that stands out for its exceptional quality and flavour.
