Varia - Hypernova Ultra Burr Set (38mm)

Upgrade your Varia VS3 burrset with this 38mm conical Hypernova Utra Burr. This burrset is very easy to swap with the standard burrs and has an improved top end range for espresso particle distribution at finer sizes. These burrs create a medium body, increased clarity and high definition of flavour, improved balance and a high acidity.

Its 440 Stainless Steel Base material improves the edge hardness to HRC65. Moreover, an extra process is added to polish the burr on a micron level to remove any tiny imperfections and an added dual coating titanium and thermal plasma is added to create an edge hardness of HRC67. 

Grind consistency

The Hypernova ultra burr has an updated pre-crushing geometry and the plasma coating helps to achieve a much shorter grind time and offers an improvement to the consistency of particle sizes. This even applies to finer grind sizes used for espresso. These burrs have an increased grind speed by 10 seconds over a 18 gram dose (compared to the standard, Supernova Steel burrs).
