This coffee is produced by several producers from the COMSA group (Café Organico Marcala), all located in the middle of the Marcala region at altitudes between 1200 to 1700 metres. All the COMSA group partners use organic farming techniques and are supported by the organisation with organic farming.
This coffee is a blend of the varieties Lempira, Parainema, Catuaí, and Icatu. After harvest, the cherries are sorted at the well-equipped washing station from COMSA and dried naturally with a high level of process control.
The coffees from this region are recognized for medium to high acidity, lots of body, and spicy notes. From this coffee, you can expect a bold and fruity cup, backed up by a beautiful chocolate and hazelnut finish.
