This Mountain Water Decaf coffee, produced in the Veracruz region, is decaffeinated naturally with water without using any chemical processes or solvent.
Raw, unroasted, green coffee is immersed in a natural solvent that we call Green Coffee Extract (GCE). GCE is a water-based solution containing the same compounds that are naturally present in green coffee, except that it has no caffeine. The GCE will extract caffeine from the green coffee. This process is repeated until the coffee is 99.9% caffeine free.
