Sage - The Barista Touch Impress 

The Sage Barista Touch Impress is the newest addition to the wide range of Sage espresso machines. This espresso machine is not only designed to eliminate all frustrations in the process of brewing espresso (dialing in, dosing and tamping), but it offers convenience and support to get the best out of your coffee. The Touch Impress - with its straightforward touch screen - is equipped with a set of innovative technologies: Barista Guidance, the Impress Puck System and AutoMilQ.

Barista Guidance

Barista Guidance is designed by Sage to offer the right amount of support when needed. This software gives feedback on your touch screen about dosing and extraction time en suggests what variables should be changed to improve your coffee. Do you prefer a stronger espresso, or less textured milk? The Barista Touch Impress enables you to change and save your favorite recipes!

Impress Puck System

There is a lot to learn about tamping. There is a lot of room for error when tamping manually, resulting in extraction problems like channeling. Tamping can also be a messy activity. The improved Impress Puck System ends these challenges. The Puck System provides feedback about dosing and grind size during every shot. When there is not enough ground coffee in the filterbasket, the machine will automatically grind more coffee and reminds the adjustment for next shot! When you reach the right dose, you reach for the lever to start tamping. The automatic tamper always tamps in the right angle, with the right amount of pressure, without making a huge mess! 

AutoMilQ: perfectly textured milk

Last but not least, the brand new AutoMilQ program allows you to automatically steam your milk. First, select your favorite kind of milk: oat-, soy-, almond-, or cowmilk. AutoMilQ will adapt its steaming technique to your milk of choice. Moreover, you are in charge of the temperature and texture you prefer. Do you like very foamy milk, or less texture? This is no problem for AutoMilQ.

The Sage Touch Impress follows the 4-step formula of professional espresso machines. An exact dose of freshly ground coffee, precise temperature control, 9 bars of water pressure and steam to create a perfect microfoam that you can use for latte art.
